Sponsor Terms

These Sponsor Terms govern the purchase and placement of sponsored content, paid partnerships, featured listings, and other promotional placements on Zap Cooking.

By purchasing or submitting a sponsorship, you agree to these Sponsor Terms.

1. Promotional Placements

Zap Cooking may offer promotional placements including, but not limited to, sponsor directory listings, homepage placements, explore page placements, recipe boosts, featured cards, or other visibility products made available through the Service.

Placement details, timing, duration, and price will be specified at the time of purchase or confirmation.

2. Payment

Payments may be accepted through Lightning or other payment methods supported by Zap Cooking.

A sponsorship is not confirmed until payment is successfully received and accepted.

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate payment and placement information.

3. No Performance Guarantee

Sponsor placements are sold as visibility opportunities only.

Unless Zap Cooking expressly agrees otherwise in writing, we do not guarantee impressions, clicks, conversions, traffic volume, sales, engagement, or ranking outcomes beyond the purchased placement itself.

Traffic and visibility may vary based on platform usage, seasonality, technical conditions, user behavior, and other factors outside our control.

4. Disclosure

Zap Cooking may label sponsored content and paid placements using disclosure language such as "Paid Partnership," "Sponsored," or "Boosted."

You agree that Zap Cooking may apply reasonable disclosure language and visual treatment to comply with transparency standards and platform policy.

5. Content Standards

You represent and warrant that any content, copy, images, logos, links, or materials you submit:

  • are accurate and not misleading
  • do not violate any law or regulation
  • do not infringe the rights of any third party
  • are not fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, unsafe, or malicious
  • are appropriate for display on Zap Cooking

Zap Cooking may reject, remove, suspend, or modify any sponsored placement in its discretion if needed for legal, safety, product, technical, or brand integrity reasons.

6. Placement Timing

Zap Cooking will use reasonable efforts to deliver the placement purchased for the requested duration, such as 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, or 30 days.

However, scheduling may be adjusted for technical issues, moderation needs, conflicting campaigns, force majeure events, or other operational reasons.

If Zap Cooking is unable to fulfill a placement as purchased, Zap Cooking may, at its option:

  • reschedule the placement
  • provide replacement placement time
  • issue a refund or partial refund

7. Refunds

Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise by Zap Cooking, sponsorship purchases are generally non-refundable once a placement has begun.

If a sponsorship is rejected before it goes live, Zap Cooking may issue a refund in its discretion.

If Zap Cooking removes a placement before the end of its purchased term, Zap Cooking may, in its discretion, reschedule the placement, provide replacement placement time, or issue a full or partial refund.

8. Right to Review, Reject, Modify, or Remove

Zap Cooking reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to review, reject, suspend, relabel, modify, or remove any sponsored placement, boosted recipe, submitted creative, link, logo, image, headline, description, or partner listing at any time.

This includes cases where content or conduct is, or may be:

  • misleading, deceptive, or inaccurate
  • unlawful or infringing
  • unsafe, malicious, or harmful
  • spammy, broken, low quality, or technically disruptive
  • inconsistent with required disclosure or transparency standards
  • inconsistent with the values, brand, integrity, or user trust of Zap Cooking

Zap Cooking may also remove or modify a placement to correct labeling, disclosure, formatting, timing, or technical issues, or to preserve the quality and operation of the Service.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed in writing, removal or suspension of a placement for the reasons above does not create any obligation for Zap Cooking to continue the placement in its original form.

9. Administrative Authority

Sponsor placements, boosted content, and related promotional features may be created, approved, edited, labeled, scheduled, moderated, or removed by Zap Cooking through authorized platform accounts, administrative tools, designated operator keys, or official Zap Cooking-controlled identities.

Zap Cooking may use internal moderation, administrative systems, or platform-level controls to manage promotional content and maintain platform integrity, legal compliance, technical performance, disclosure standards, and community trust.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zap Cooking will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from or related to a sponsorship or promotional placement.

Zap Cooking's total liability relating to a sponsorship will not exceed the amount actually paid for that placement.

11. Changes

Zap Cooking may update these Sponsor Terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
